Filipino Outsourcing

Filipino outsourcing for Internet marketers and offline businesses has become a very satisfactory endeavor for all types of American and European businesses. China has been climbing steadily trying to beat India as the outsourcing capital of the world, but what many don't realize is that outsourcing to the Philippines has already been so lucrative that it has pushed Filipinos outsourcing into second place. All types of online and offline businesses have been flocking to Filipino outsourcing companies, and to Filipino freelancers, for many of their outsourcing tasks.

Filipino Outsourcing Skills

Filipinos are being utilized for skills that range from accounting to virtual assistants. The usage of the Filipino people for outsourcing has grown so rapidly not only because of the quality of the work they produce, but also because of the cost. They charge much less for their services than their Indian counterparts, and they are more affluent in the English language. Filipinos have always been known for their work ethics and loyalty traits. Now, their customer service skills for call-centers are also out-shining the skills of the India based call-centers.

Deep English Speaking Roots in the Philippines

There are deep roots in the Philippine Islands that formed their English speaking base. It goes all the way back to before WWII. After the end of WWII, and the surrender of Japan, U.S. Naval bases took over the occupation of the islands. During the Vietnam War, Subic Bay in Olongapo, located SW of Luzon, was one of the wars major Rest and Recreation ports because of the U.S. Naval Base facilities that were located there. Today, Subic Bay has become an inexpensive tourist resort attracting visitors from all over the world. The city boasts beautiful, scenic, white-sand beaches; lively casinos; and duty free shopping. The warm reception of the native people and the ability to speak fluent English has greatly increased the flow of vacation travelers and business travelers alike who are looking for inexpensive travel alternatives with all the amenities included.

Filipino Outsourcing is In Demand

Having acquired the English speaking skills, and an understanding of American culture, has played a major role in the increasing demand for outsourcing work to the Filipinos. The hard working Filipino people also have the advantage of lower labor and land costs than India. This amounts to a huge savings for many large corporations looking to cut labor costs. It also works as a great advantage for home businesses and Internet marketers that need help with the daily tasks of operating a small business alone.

Filipino IT Bases

Even with these advantages, Filipino IT bases are not yet in competition with India or China, as the Filipinos are still lacking in experienced mid-level technology managers. Because of this, it may still be a while before they are actually going to be able to beat India in the race entirely. As for Internet marketers and small business owners, they are finding Filipino workers ideal for their business staff. They are outsourcing to the Philippine Islands for many different online skill levels such as article writing, e-book creation, virtual assistants, web designers and programmers, to name just a few.

Filipino Outsourcing Websites

More and more Filipino freelance websites and outsourcing websites are popping up every day. If you do a Google search you will find many to choose from. The Filipino work force would be my first choice when looking for outsourcing help for your online business.
